Brighton
From iconic tourist attractions to
an impressive beachfront and Victorian pier, Brighton
is a treasure trove of things to see and places to go. On your private
tour you will experience the extraordinary Royal Pavilion, an
exotic palace originally built as a seaside pleasure palace for George IV.
Followed by a walk through The Lanes, Brighton's
historic intricate maze of twisting alleyways with a unique mix of
antiques, jewellery and other shops. The spectacular Brighton Pier
awaits you to complete your classic seaside tour.
Arundel Castle
A restored and remodeled medieval castle, and home to the Duke
of Norfolk, Arundel
Castle is known for its
stunning features and impressive gardens. On your visit you will discover
a fine collection of paintings, furniture and the amazing Baron’s Hall
and State Apartments. The gardens are simply magnificent and make
for a very peaceful and tranquil stroll.
South Downs
Off the typical tourist trail, our private tour guide will take
you to see the quaint downland villages of Amberley known for their
thatched cottages, chalk pits and ancient castle. Set in the
beautiful Sussex Downs, there is also a working museum home to a vast
array of old agricultural and industrial machinery,
Alternative Tour Sights
This tour can be customised with
a visit to 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield (the greatest
historical battlefield in Britain,
King Harold and William the Conqueror). Due to location, this will limit your
day tour to just one additional visit. We will happily discuss your preference
with you upon booking.
Lunch
For lunch our tour guide will give
you a number of options to choose from on the day. You may like to consider traditional
fish and chips on Brighton Pier or a luxury picnic hamper at
Arundel Castle which includes a variety of
meats, cheeses, local breads, alcoholic and
non-alcoholic drinks, from just £35 per person. Please specify this
upon your booking and we will take care of the rest.
